Poverty reduction is known as one of the government
strategies, under the wise leadership of Samdech
Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia. Although
much of the efforts made by the government in
respond to the risen concerns, problems and needs of
the people, the constraints still relatively existed
due to the fact that there are still other
influencing factor causing the poor…… such as
natural disaster and other incidents etc….
The Bayon Foundation was created and established in
year 2003 under the wise creative idea and
initiation of H.E Chumteav Hun Mana, who is
the daughter of the Samdech Prime Minister Hun
Sen, aiming at facilitating and helping to
release some of the heavy burdens of the poor people
while they could not afford by themselves.
Mission Statement of
BAYON Foundation
The Bayon mission is to help the society and its
people without discrimination of political status,
but more concentrating on promoting the living
standard, enhancing the welfare and avoid people
from extreme poverty.
General Goal of
BAYON Foundation
The Bayon Foundation's goal is to commit to the
humanity affairs, contributing and participating
with the Government of Cambodia, with social works
in helping reducing the burden and difficulties
faced by the vulnerable people and the poor.
